I wasn't impressed with them on my S-Type either. Currently using Falkens - 12,000 miles so far and looking good.

Like the XKR verry suseptable to tracking etc being out

Most Jaguar dealers and independants just can't get it correct

Just do the toe in, but the castor etc may need adjusting, they say it can't be
Just cant be bothered to take the time and effort

Wear on the insides suggests too much toe-out.

It may be a sign (if the tracking is ok) that the suspension rubber mountings are wearing as the resistance of the tyre on the road will naturally pull the wheels towards toe-out rather than toe-in. If the rubber is ageing and getting softer, this will be more pronounced. Presumably these haven't been replaced at any point recently?

I got even wear on the front of my xjr6 and my xjr8 fronts are wearing evenly

I was surprised how fast the xjr eats front tryes, I put it down to the heavy engine. XJR6 gave 10k miles per set and xjr8 pirellies have loads of tread left, having just passed 10k miles
