My renewal is due soon. I am currently on a classic policy with classic line who did fully comp last year for £270. Any recommendations of other avenues to go down?

Try 2gether Insurance. I'd not heard of them until a month ago, but fully comp, 5k miles limit on the XJS came in at under £150 for the year on their classic policy when most quotes I was getting were around £400. The radiator recore soon made up for that though rolleyes

ive just gone with SureTerm Direct. Everybody else wanted 385 or more, these guys did it for 270.
Find them on any of the search engines, confused, compare the market etc

I switched from Adrian Flux to Footman James keeping me down nearer the £200 mark for the XJR. Flux jumped about 50% this year.

Oh, I've just had a look in what you've got in your profile. I think you're car is a bit too new for Lancaster to be competitive, sorry. frown They are great for 25-30years old plus cars though biggrin

The admiral multicar policy has been good for me over the last few years because I have two cars and most places did not let me build up no claims on both cars. £260 for 2002 xjr8

ETA I knocked about £500 off one of my policies years ago by calling Tesco to renew, but I put the excess up to £500 or similar. Thankfully have never claimed on the insurance so that proved to be a big saving although it was in 2001

Did some shopping around myself earlier this year, Classicline came up with the deal (£270 on my 98 XJR) and therefore I jumped ship from Adrian Flux.....

I expect the insurance feel what Yob would steel it, they couldn't afford the petrol

It is with LV. I also have my Shogun with them and my neighbours Peugot all around the £200-£250 mark.

A friend has been very pleased with ClassicLine Insurance, and Jaguar at last do their own insurance, and they are competitive.
