Hi, I bet a lot of people saw the XKS seats on Top Gear, so nice.
Has anyone upgraded to more sporty seats for a late say 2006 on XKR?

Why would you want to upgrade the seats? The XKS seat6s a mile better than the sports seats.

I'm guessing he meant putting the bucket seats from the XKR-S into an earlier car, I sat in an XKR at Goodwood that had the speed and black pack and that car had the bucket seats, apparently they're an option on the facelift models. I mentioned them to my local Jaguar dealer and they said they can't be retro fitted.

That's like saying to a dealer can you put Recarro's from a later X100 into an early XKR

No you can't but my machanic has for me including all the extra functions

So goes to show, go to a good Independant

Norman there is no denying your car looks superb but why did you not just buy a later one? The money you have spend on that must be eye watering.

When I got side swiped the 3rd parties insurance paid out for the repairs

I already had a lot of goodies on the car so didn't want to loose those

All I had to do was add some ££ to it to get the car as I wanted it with a new body

So I've ended up with more or less a new car to my spec for not a lot of extra money, and I still only pay £200 road tax!!

Some good comments.
I really would just like a better sports seat than what my car came with. Mine is a 2007 57 car.
