I have a 2004 XJ8 with the built in car phone (ie, duplicate sim card type, not blue tooth)
When I call on hands free people tell me that I am very faint, but lots of back ground noise, even if all the windows are closed. I have to speek VERY loudly to be heard! Its not a problem if parked and hands free. Is there an adjustment I can make to the microphone sensitivity? I have scoured the phone manual and I cannot find any reference.
Any advice?
