Buzzing noise....

Is there any way to turn off whatever is causing that buzzing noise in the dashboard when I stop the car? It gets a tad annoying when you want to stop for a little break/peace and quiet and get that buzz. It lasts for around 30mins before turning off naturally.

It also comes on as soon as I open the door to get in?

What is it by the way?

It's the in car temp sensor. Even new ones sometimes make the same noise.
