XJ glasses holder

On my X300 the holder doesn't rattle but when I put sun glasses in there they rattle :-(
Wrapping the sunglasses in a cloth stops them rattling, but rather defeats the purpose of then easy access holder. Somewhere I've got a pair of folding Ray-Bans which have an all plastic frame that doesn't rattle. I'm just not that keen on the sun glasses. My Oakley's that have rubberised side shafts (which I suspect wouldn't rattle) don't fit. All the normal metal frame ones I've tried do, even the good Lady B8's Carl Zeiss ones. So I've never used the sun glasses holder.
