Twice now on my travels up the M6 after a shift I have been passed by an old Jag XJ, dark green with big dish wheels and bubble arches. I thought it looked pretty mean, does anybody know much about that particular model or is it likely to be a custom jobbie?

Wonder who the lovely little Miss Hot Pants is.

Oh yes. The Jag must be a repro of the XJC from the series..Or maybe the one!!

Please enlighten us..This is a great observation if it turns out to be.

Luckily we have ITV4 now so the youth of today will forever have access to grainy videos of Capris crashing through dustbins! smile

Not Steed's style.

He'd distract the villains by chatting about the cricket while discretely holding their tyre valves open with the point of a sword cane, then rescue the damsel in distress from whatever saucy bondage peril she'd managed to get her dippy self into.

It was great stuff, from a gentler era.

Happy to oblige.

Meanwhile : my Coventry Cat beard is thin and unkempt. Anyone know how many Broadspeed Jags are out there?

Sadly she seems to have been too far down the pecking order to make the cast list: http://declassified.theavengers.tv/tna_171_three_h...

Finest bum I've seen for ages.

Could be a repro of Steeds XJC or as it's green, could it be a TWR conversion? I know Tom Walkinshaw majored on XJSs but they did a few XJ12s IIRC.

Could be a Lister XJC (but they didn't have the blistered arches though...)?

Koenig & Arden also did Jag mods, could be one of those.

That's amazing. Did they ever do a full XJ conversion? Would make an awesome sleeper.

That picture was taken in the Garage on the Green in Fulham. I used to live near it and spent many a Saturday afternoon there, pressing my nose up against the cars. Lovely place. I remember them selling a Merc SL at a discount price once "because George Michael used to own it"!
