Does anyone know whether they will fit in ok, without the passenger seat being pushed right forward?
For an 18 mo (front facing seat)
Many thanks

X100 models from 1997-2005 = Coupe is fine, I have a Britax Evolva123 in the back of mine & it works well with the wife in the passenger seat. Convertible is another matter.

X150 2006+ i dont know about, but would assume is OK in Coupe format

The rear seat back is more upright in the convertible, to accomodate the folding roof.
Checked out dozens of seats before buying the Britax Prince.
It is more compact than the Evolva but it is still barely usable.
The passenger seat does have to be fully forward, with the seat back more upright than is comfortable for anything more than the shortest run.
The child seat is also more upright than you would like.

If your passenger is any taller than about 5'6" forget the convertible if you need to accommodate a child seat even for the shortest journeys.

Not sure of the X150, but it looks the same.

I've just purchased the Britax Duo Plus for the back of my 2007 XKR and it fits nicely behind me (a short-legged 5'8"-er). I'm actually looking forward to having a bit more legroom than I've had to get used to with the rear facing Cybex Aton that's been sitting in the back until now. This Britax is the one recommended by Jag and can be had for £150 new, plus £15 for an optional top tether to improve safety. I was advised at Mothercare that, due to the deep bucket in the back, an Isofix seat is necessary to provide a solid, flat base for the seat. The Duo Plus is the only seat I can find to fit that description and fit the car - most seats are too tall.

It can also be secured by a seatbelt too if you need to share the seat with another car (as I will do with the Mk2 MX-5).
