jammed Jag CD Changer

I've got an S type with a 6 stack CD changer. Recently it's stopped playing and shows cderr on teh dashboard and the cassette won't eject. I'm suspecting a jammed in place CD. - Anyone got any ideas for a non-destructive way of freeing it all up?

Common problem.

Remove the unit and take the cover off. You'll see the jammed one. It's usually the post that the individual CD units slide up and down on that gets a bit sticky.

Basically free everything up and clean all the moving bits.

My cartridge was missing when I got my 03 STR, could you post here the serial number on the Cartridge for me?

Ebay have a selection, but would be nice to match the serial number to ensure I get the correct one.

Your local Jag dealer will be able to tell you the part number, if that's what you mean, and probably sell you a new one too.

sometimes mine jams, I have to prod it gently and press the button a good few times but it usually pops out
