Ipod connection for 2006 XKR?

I've just bought myself a lovely XKR to replace my AMV8. Really pleased with it, but after an Ipod connector. Can anyone make a recommendation? Is main dealer preferable or best to go to an indie?

I could be wrong but don't think 2006 xkr can accomdate ipod, there maybe an aftermarket work around but i could never get a dealer to provide me with a cable

I have recently bought an 07 XKR with a Jaguar ipod and USB connection kit so they deffo do do one.

I have a 57 XKR and was thinking of doing the same. I am sure I saw a DIY version on ebay.

XKR suits me better, although I prefer the look and noise of the Aston! The XKR is not just faster than the AM, the performance is also far more accessible. Both handle well, but the AM shrinks around you and is more 'chuckable.'

As my daily driver I need something relaxing to drive and quiet enough for me to chat on the phone and the XKR wins this contest hands down. Very sad to have sold the AM but delighted with the XKR. Both represent incredible value second hand and hold their prices reasonably well - 8 months of AM ownership cost me £200 in total

Thats interesting, i sold my AMv8 sportshift roadster and was looking at getting into a XKR myself, which is why i asked. thanks.
