XK8 convertible emergency, help please!

My wife's just driven home in her XK8 convertible, taking advantage of a rare moment of sunshine, with the roof down.

When she's tried to put the roof up the latch has fastened before the roof has reached it. It's now jammed about 9/10ths of the way. The latch is closed and the roof won't go forward and won't go back. The rear offside window has remained down. The car is on our driveway and I'm worried it's going to rain again overnight.

Does anybody know if there is anyway of manually over-riding the system to get the roof fully up and raise the window, or to reset the system so that it might all work again off the button?

Ring the dealer - they may have a quick fix over the phone to re-set it.

Managed to solve the problem by finding the pump (in the boot) turning off the pressure valve and then manually cranking with an allen key.
