If you can afford to buy and run an X308 then that'd be my choice every time.

X-type = very few rust areas, but transfer box is made of chocolate and the auto is pants. I love mine, it's a great car and for what I need it's perfect but...

If you have the space find a lovely XJ. I have always wanted one and continue to do so but cannot justify one at present. It is a very different world
