Engine Transplant

Dilemma,

love my XJR six pot for the analogue handling and classic looks but it lacks the performance of my XJr V8!!!
as these are essensially one and the same car how easy would it be to slip a V8 into the six?
Has anybody done this and if so what advice could you give.

Not verry as there are a lot of electronics to change

Even the gauges would be differant
