The electrical connector pin in the top of one rear shock has snapped. This means I am getting a suspension fault warning. It doesn't seem possible to get the connector out to replace it. Is it a new shock that's needed?

If I remove the connector wire that goes into the top of the shock and make a circuit, I get rid of the fault. I am thinking of leaving the connectors out of the rear shocks which would mean no adjusted damping just standard damping. Anyone see any issues with running the car like this? New shocks are £276 each!!!

Seems that this doesn't work. The ride is awful and the fault code remains on constantly. Back to the drawing board! I am guessing you can't put aftermarket dampers on these cars as the fault code will always be present.
