Is there a custom designed booster seat suitable for the current XK8?

Please can somebody provide a link showing what it looks like.

Thanks.

Hi Gavin,

I can't answer your query directly, but I had an older style XK8 (steel bodied), when I had two younger children. I bought the car then took it to Halfords, selcted the two or three narrowest seats (front to back being the crucial measurement) and then the assistant was happy to pop out to the car park with me to try them for size.

As my children grew, I started using the car as a three seater (just the rear seat behind the front passenger being used). When I tried the new XK I decided there was more headroom for me, but less leg room in the rear and couldn't really make it work.

Hopefully, someone else can chime in with direct experience of child seats in the XK. But, I would expect Halfords (or perhaps Kiddi-care or similar, with a car park directly outside) will be able to find you a seat to fit. When you do find one - posting the make and model will no doubt help others.

Good luck,
David

Nothing to do with safey... my boys 11 months and you wanna see the state of the back of the passenger seat!!! My poor wife has to sit with her knees on the dashboard to stop the little fella from kicking the back of the chair..... BUT I have now got some protection masking film on their so at least the chair doesn't get scuffed any more...

Do you think all manuacturers actaully have missed an oppurtunity to join up with say Britax or Maxi-Cosi et al and actually sell child seats and booster seats that fit perfectly and match the interior of the car??
