seat belt extenders

Hi.I have just bought a xj6 sport m reg and the seat belts are a bit tight (Yes I am powerfully built(fat) ) what size are the buckles where to get extenders from ?

Thanks but would prefer the buckle extension type .I have one from a prev car but it won't fit .

Doubt you`ll find any as extending the buckle would probably result in having a buckle lying across the seat occupant. Not something you would want in the event of an accident.

The Securon item simply extends the floor mounted belt end by a foot or so. Simple, cheap and easy solution.

Or lose some weight.

In the back of my memory I seem to remember this problem. Maybe I'm wrong but I think American spec belts were longer.
Maybe expensive to buy new, but you might find a kind American breaker that would measure them for you, and you can compare to your belt.
May not be the answer you were looking for, but it's the safest and a correct mod.

check out ebay, I bought a pair just plugs into the floor mount quite neat under £10 only downside is the warning light dont come on.

have gone the webbing extension route took about 10 mins each side.
turns out not just a problem for fat bar stewards like me !not much travel left in the belt even for anyone over 5'10" and I'm 6'1"
