Morning All

first post in this section of PH and after some advice.

Have been offered the above for a swap of my car which is currently up for sale and know little about Jags, values, foibles etc etc etc.

the car itself hs done 65k, will have a fresh MOT and tax until May 2013 and comes spec'd with the following;

Black 10 Way Electric, Memory Sports Perforated Leather Seats (Memory also controls mirrors)
18" Aruba Alloys
Heated front screen
Auto dimming mirror
Climate Control
Automatic headlights and wipers
Cruise Control (Brilliant pairing with automatic gearbox)
6 Disc CD Changer
Bluetooth phone (Compatible with all phones)
Sat Nav
Auto close windows
Sports Suspension
Pirelli P Zero Nero all round, lots of tread
Carbon Fibre dash
Folding mirrors
Rear parking sensors

After market extras (Arranged by Jaguar garage):
iPod connectivity

Realistically I don't know if I will keep it, thinking it may be more of a trade in vehicle for me as I am after something cheaper to release a few quid from my car to do my motorbike test and have a spare few quid in my pocket. Will be speaking with a couple of people I know in car sales re trade in value and desireabiity (the main issue with the VX at the moment due to time of year)

Any advise / comments gratefully recieved

Thanks

Domf

What engine size V6 is either 2.5 or 3.0 on a 2007?
Plate 07 or 57?
It's above mileage 65k so will get less, a big stumbling block for these is the Road Fund Licence, on post 2005 it's £430 a year. Is transfer box original or has it been replaced, achilles heel of these cars ,will cost upwards of 1k to replace.
A lot of car but trade 4-6k, retail 5-7.5k, big petrol engines not popular in this market.

If it is an auto I'd steer well clear.

Hmmm. I'm selling my 2003 3.0l Sport Manual with 68,000 miles, full service history, long tax and mot and I've been told the best I can hope for is £1,700...

Its a 3.0 auto, link for it is http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...

Looks a lovely car, but I would only be looking to turn it arond with a dealer or private sale but wouldnot look to hold on to it for very long at all.

I guess I will give this one a swerve!

That is way overpriced as a 56 plate that trades 3000-3700k and max retail 5200
