Knock sensors XJ 3.5V8

Folks, just had the AA out to have a look at warning light on the dashbard, the amber alternator light I think it is. Its a 2004 XJ 3.5v8.

Anyways he plugged the old laptop in and the error message P0328 came up and apparently its the Knock Sensor. Its been into Jaguar today who have said they need to replace both Knock Sensors for the small sum of £430.....

Just had a look online and they are approx £18.30 and £21.98 delivered.... I take it we are looking at 3hs to fit?

Anyone had any previous eperiencce with the knock sensors etc?
