Just bought an S Type diesel and I have to say very impressed, just sold my A5 2.7 as I needed more room in the back, S Type is returning almost the same mpg, first tank 580 miles and computer indicated 39 mpg so I'm impressed also feels very smooth compared to the Audi which on 19's with sports pack was a bit stiff on anything but smooth roads.

One question is the car is a sport with NAV but when I press the phone button it says no phone fitted, I really would like to connect my phone any ideas on what's needed, the car has the mic near the rear view mirror so it looks like its wired for a hands free .

Thanks

Ian

There's a very convoluted way of pairing your phone to the car. Head across to JaguarForums.co.uk and have a look for the method. Loads of other good info, too.

Mine wouldn't work (after 2 weeks of trying) because the bluetooth module isn't fitted...

If, after trying to pair your phone, the message says 'no phone', you haven't got the module fitted. It was an expensive optional extra.

Thanks for the info, looks like I will have to look at other options or does anyone know if the upgrade can be fitted at a reasonable cost.
I've never had a car that had Sat Nav and didn't have blue tooth fitted.
