Hi guys, following on from my other three with the troubles iv had starting the car, anyways, a wobbly see type lol, the problem being that when I go over a pot hole or drian etc, the back of the car seems to wobble from side to side or seem to pull quite roughly to the side, which has actually caused an accident, even thought was just a wing mirror, it's give a very unsettling feeling, it's very sudden when it happens and it doesn't even feel natural like a slide, it just throws over, very weird, I'm guessing it's shocks or bushes mabie, any ideas guys? Cheers
Sounds like rear wishbone bushes are shot. If you go to a jag dealer they will want a lot of ££ IIRC its something like £400 a side as they replace the whole arm not just the bushes. If you go to a decent jag specialist they can do the bushes without replacing the arm, probably about £300 to do both sides.
I had a similar thing with an x308 shape daimler v8 that id recently bought it was very un nerving going over potholes and drains as it does feel like it throws the car badly so i got it checked and it turns out it was the right rear trunnion was smashed which apparantly no one has ever heard of before but id get that checked as we were told it shouldnt be driven under any circumstances as the wheel was tracking where ever it wanted.

I'd suspect the rear bushes too. As above, they're hugely expensive if you buy the whole arm. It's also the fastest fix with minimal labour.
Racing Green cars however can supply the bushes for the S-Type's rear wishbones, which almost everyone will assure you are not available. Head over to www.jaguarforum.co.uk for part numbers to ask for etc, although to be honest, Racing Green are pretty helpful and know their stuff, and will be able to sort you out over the phone.
Either way, you need to get the car up in the air for a good look because S-Types are anything but wobbly when in working order.
