water underseat xk8 2006

can anyone help on this?
i have Xk8 2006 Convertible which tends to collect water under the drive seat,
currently jaguar can't seem to reslove this issue.
been back and forwards to the dealership for the past year and no fix.
currently they have replaced the roof seal, re-sealed the pedal box, and water still gets in.
replaced the hose on air con ,
not to pleased with jaguar on the way they have handled this issues,

any ideas thoughts on this?

Have you had the carpet tub (should be one piece each side) out and looked at the metal floor? There is a design flaw with the strengthening panel fixed to the footwell on each side underneath.. it traps crud and water and in time rots through. Are they sure the water is coming in and down?.. it may be coming up!!

Hi Simon,

on the last visit at the dealership I was told they had stripped the seats and carpet out and they thought the water was entering the car from the driver side hood seal.
also they informed me the repair they carried out on the pedal box seals were still good?
so not sure where it coming from.
car is again booked in for further investigation, but I don’t hold much hope.
I have tried going down the route since the car was sold like this they should now look into putting me into replacement car. But as usual they aren’t offering me good price on my car.
so this now has put me of JAGUAR, and I have been jaguar customer for 14 years but now it’s making me look at other manufactures out there..
