help please.

I have 2.2 XF it is a year old with 13,000 miles, riding on 18" pirelli zeros, inflated to 31 psi all round. The car has almost overnight gone from being a very nicely planted good handling car to feeling as if it is hinged in the middle, with under steer and tramlining. The tyres have lots of tread on and are wearing evenly. The obvious thought in my mind is worn out tyres but the condition of them does not support that. Is this a problem any one else has? and any ideas of alternative causes?

stopped to help an old boy with a S type who trashed how front passenger wheel, tyre and other unknown bits today in a huge pot hole
