XK low leved Buzzing

Just bought a 2006 XK and all seems good so far. I was in the stationary car playing, no familiarising myself with the plethora of controls and features etc and I noticed as soon as I got in the car there was a low level buzzing . It sounded like it was coming from the dashboard area.

Is this anything that may need investigating. Is it likely to run the battery flat . Do other XKs do the same. Or is it just a new owner being very sensitive to the latest aquisition.??

Wouldn't worry, if it sounds like its coming from the little vent on the veneer to the left of the steering wheel, that's just the in car aspirator (a little fan that draws air over the temp sensor for the a/c) it's normally silent but can buzz when full of dust

Would this fan be going with everything turned off including ignition and locked

Is there anyway og getting to it to clean it.

Little difficult to clean due to being in the dash, from memory it should only work when when the car is 'awake' ie either ign on or leaper displayed on the touch screen. Should be nothing to worry about!
