Roof bars - jag x351 anyone?

Well i am fed up taping the audi a5 cab boot up prior to putting a saris bones on it, and then tying it all down seems to take forever.

So has anyone tried any universal roof bars? Seems that they are not supported due to weight and the aluminum roof .

All i am going to put on is a carbon bike so what do you reckon? Any one done it?

Nothing on google for this, and halfords list 2003 onwards which are the universal type, worth a shot?
