Wanted you Jag guys opinions also, Side reflectors have been painted black, yay or nay? Still left the front ones yellow

blacked out works. But their is a chap who has a X350 round here and he has fitted the lights to his side reflectors and I must say it looks nice....

Can you get a clear lens kit for these? That would look better.

Unfortunately I cannot find anyone who does a clear lense kit, wish they did.

What about those chaps in the US that do the LED light kits for Jaguars.... I'm sure they did some clear lenses... cant think of the name, maybe Paul Autos.....

How did you do it? What paint was used? I like the look but wonder if something not quite a black, just dark smoked may look better.

There is talk of a clear lense group buy over on the .com forum but they are pricey. In my opinion they look very dated in orange but worse in black. Clear is the only way but it isn't cheap - http://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-x308-xj8-xjr-... $275 for a full set plus shipping and customs charges

Smoked indicator lens look good I think. The early XJ40's (like mine) had standard smoked wing indicator lens and some variants had smoked rear cluster lens too.

Keep them ginger, I've never seen smoked or clear indicators that are properly visible under bright sunlight.
