So, the aluminium corrosion is quite well known on these cars ... which is a shame !!

I have a 2003 car, which compared to some I've seen isn't too bad. I have the 2 areas, inch or so long on the bottom of both passenger side doors, and the usual boot lip, plus another tiny bit on the boot where it joins the plastic rear panel. There is also an area on the front of the bonnet, and annoyingly lacquer peeling on the bonnet, so really need the whole bonnet doing;

I have been quoted about £400 for the bonnet, £300 for the doors, and £200 for the boot .... obviously a bit off if I get them all done together, but still a hefty chunk.

I just wondered if anyone else as had remedial paint/corrosion work done on their cars for a price comparison. I have had 3 quotes, and to be fair they are all similar in my area (Bedfordshire)

Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
