Hi guys,

Had a little fun with photoshop to see what a Jaguar XFR would look like if it came in a 3 door version. Let me know what you think!

Personally i think it looks good!

Won't happen with this generation of XF already 6 years old, the estate was late to the party, a coupe as a run out model couldn't be justified on development, tooling costs and low sales. I agree looks good but rear 3/4's looks a bit A5, BMW 3 ish? Jaguar have the F type coupe to launch next, then either the new X type or replacement XK so they're going to pretty busy, plus mid life facelift for XJ and then an all new XF, that may from the start include an estate and a coupe with the saloon.
Would Jaguar want an XFR coupe, with an F Type R coupe possible? Stealing sales from each other and not the competition.

I don't 'think' the OP's really expecting that Jaguar will look at his (very good) photoshop and put it into production!

This car needs a name!

In 1968 Holden named their new coupe 'Monaro' after an area in south-west New South Wales, so obviously this car has to be the Jaguar 'South Hams'.

Top photoshop skills and yes, it looks great. Perhaps a little chunky for a coupe but, make the front door a bit longer it may look a bit more sleek. Given the popularity of the A5 the thought must have occurred to the boys and girls at Jaguar. Lets see what happens with the next generation XF

Hi guys,

Thanks for all your comments smile I just started using photoshop a couple of days ago and find it taking up alot of my spare time to learn how to use it. I agree with you all that the front door looks too short so will try to amend this asap!

Thanks again for all your advice and compliments smile

it's ok, like tvr they would have buttons under the mirrors, and you'd have to have prongs to jump it if the battery ever died...

Don't see how they would compete against each other, F-Type coupe will be 2-seater surely...?

I'd love to see Jag do a 4 seat, 2-door coupe competitor to the C-CLass Mercs and 3 Series (oops.....4 Series) BMW's.

Hopefully the next gen X-Type will provide such a car from the start.....?
