During the search for my XJR I passed on a low mileage one (at a very high premium) partly because the dealer claimed FSH but whilst there were a few stamps in the book, it'd gone almost two years since last service (and stood doing just 2k in that time) and its second service was 4k and 8 months overdue too.
I don't know how this would affect the car, although the standing about is worse probably than the delayed annual service, but it does annoy me that dealers do this.
Is it just me or is a FSH one where every service is done exactly when or before it's due?

FSH doesn't necessarily mean F(correct)SH! It just means that whatever has been done has been 'recorded'. It's bit of ajoke when 2 year old cars are advertised as FSH, and have in reality just had an oil change. I guess that some 'just-under' 2-year olds could have FSH with no services having been carried out - just the PDI
I do agree, though, that if advertised as FSH, it's normally reasonable to assume that it has been serviced properly and on time.
