More brain picking from me. The orange coolant specified for the 4.0 v8 (mine is a 2002 model), is that an OAT type of coolant and am I restricted to the main stealers for topping up supply? I went to a local motor factors today and the guy offered me a coolant which is supposed to mix with all types, which I declined.

Any advice?

Most cars use OAT coolant now. You can buy it at service stations, motors factors Halfords, etc, etc.

Halfords 5 year anti-freeze is suitable for use - it states the spec on it which meets the Jag requirements (certainly for my 2003 4.2 XK8).
