I was hoping that a fellow owner here might be able to advise me as to the best place to source quality, new front wings for my X308..... ideally at a price that wont break the bank either!

Thanks for the speedy replies. I have seen the 400 price tag and thought 'that can't be correct' But it looks likes new O/E are that expensive after all.
Looks like more research is in order, they simply aren't value at that price.

Seriously, what were you expecting?

Secondhand old panels for you then, if you genuinely feel the cost of new parts is too high.

Seriously, SV8Predator, if you haven't got anything helpful or constructive to add just keep quiet and do us all a favour.

I needed a bonnet, bumper, headlights and osf wing for my 308 a couple of years ago and the cheapest option was to buy a complete car and take off what i needed. I waited for the same colour to come up and swapped all parts over. I flea bayed the rest and all in it cost me £175,

might be a way to go

What I can't understand is why one has a 10 year old car and you have to fit new body parts

So if a wing etc is the same age, providing in good condition

Whats the problem

I know insurance companies require new parts

But there again, anything over 5 years and it's a right off

Really common for X308 front wings to rot out, the first car I bought was terrible, as I am modifying it I decided to take some moulds and produce them in composite, however not that I expect the OP would want them, but I bought another XJR to modify and it's wings are good which I would be willing to part with, just depends how much of a hurry you are in?

£400 for new OE is not that bad, sure it's not that good either particularly if you need 2, my first port of call would be eBay, expect to pay £100 for a good one delivered, then spend a few days taking the dents out the courier has put in unless you can collect
