in relation to my other thread, im not convinced she is cranking over fast enough having listened to others full battery recon starter but have some concerns . realise the answer is not easy to explain without aid of a video any pointers ??
Just a thought. Have you check the various earth straps, not sure where they are on these cars. Also, I had a similar problem with my Freelander, it turned out to be corroded terminal on the starter. Must be worth a shot.
the starter has been off and supposed to be refurbed so the terminals would have been checked earth ? well im tempted to run a jump lead from the battery to the engine , that will eliminate the ground hopefully. will try that next.
