Sorry if this sounds a little niave, there is a polystyrene tray with pockets that sits under the luggage shelf and on top of the spare wheel in an x type estate. Should thee be anything in this, jack, tools, etc. The one I'm buying is empty. Thanks
Should be empty except for the locking wheel nut adaptor. The jack is under the spare wheel.
The rest of the space is for you to put your own gear in there. I keep my detachable towbar & towing bits and bobs under there keeping the "proper" boot area tidy.
