The paintwork on out new F type is stunning and I can see a few areas that are going to stone chip , behing the front wheels on the cill and the cill where it flaires out for the rear wheel to name but a few .
A local wrapping company can apply a super clear coat , a bit like armour fend to protect it but I'm not sure , has anybody done this ? What does it look like ?

Thanks Tux

I have been looking into this. Seems the quality of the film chosen is part of the equation and the other part is the fitter.

The F-Type has a good bumper/bonnet shut line, so pays to do the whole bumper. You can also go from getting the full front half of the car done, right through to the entire car. To get in done right is expensive, xpel film is the best, self repairing. Only one fitter, 3M also do their own which gets mixed reviews. Look on Porsche thread, there was a long discussion about it, can 'to find it right now....

Thanks , will have a look .
The wrapper is a very good mate and he has ordered in some special extra clear stuff , yes we were thinking the whole bumper up to the bonnet shut line . Just not seen it done before so not sure .
