So finally after months of waiting, moaning on forums and generally annoying those around me, my beauty arrived today! I can't tell you how good it feels, looks and most of all sounds! Can't wait to get up to the Brecon Beacons this weekend for a proper runaround. In the meantime, here's a couple of quick snaps...

Thanks for the great comments. Absolutely loving it so far. This is the only other picture I have, I ended up doing around 250 miles in its first 24 hours so will take some more after it's had a clean!

Thanks Dave. No they are chrome, was really the only chrome part I couldn't customise to black. May look into changing it down the line but it hasn't bothered me too much so far, although I wish Jag would provide an option to do this as you can change pretty much every other piece of chrome on the car to black or carbon.

Having owned one of the best handling cars in the cayman, how does the f-type compare?
Does it hide it's weight well? Is it as much fun on twisty roads as the cayman?

I've not had the chance to REALLY test the F-Type yet but initial impressions are very good. I really liked the Cayman it was incredible on a B road blast and is still the best handling car I've ever driven - I don't think that will change now the F-Type's here. However, the F-Type is much better than expected, and the coupe is definitely better through the bends than the roadster I test drove. What I would say is I never really loved either of my Porsche's, but I am absolutely smitten with the Jag. The interior is better than the Porsche (MUCH better than my 987), the looks are incredible, and the sound... ohhh the sound! The F is just absolute theatre. I don't think I'll miss the Cayman's handling (certainly not off the track) given the overall superiority of the F-Type package (in my opinion of course!)

It's funny you mention the weight actually, because it is something I was concerned about, but now you mention it, I haven't even thought about it since I picked the car up... so I guess it has hidden it very well!
