Rear Pads for 2010 XKR
Discussion
The price of pads seems to range from £25 - £135 depending on type for the XKR http://www.justjagsuk.com/products/6325/Pads/?make...
So sounds blooming expensive ! Not sure if the pads on that site are genuine Jag or copies, its worth paying extra to get the genuine parts but not as much as you have been quoted.
For what its worth I had the front pads changed on the XJR recently - they are brembo specials and I dont believe there are any aftermarket versions so you have to buy the real thing. I paid £320 to a dealer to supply and fit them. The rears are a lot cheaper so I think you need to ask them to sharpen their pencil.

They won't be Alcons on a 2011 car, the Alcon brakes were an option on later 4.2 cars. You spot them as being red and have multiple pistons per caliper (4 on the rears and 6 on the front). All the other brakes on the 4.2 and 5.0 cars are single-piston items made by ATE/Teves.
These are the front Alcon brakes, rears look similar:

FWIW, I got EBC RedStuff pads for my 4.2 XKR (standard, non-Alcon brakes) for about £56 from Camskill. Pretty sure they do pads to fit the 5.0 cars too.

Indeed. Thought I'd shop around dealers and tried somewhere else and just been quoted £509, fitted. Parts at £340!
