Warranty Extension...

The manufacturers warranty on my XJR is about to expire and Jaguar want £1321 a year to renew it. Has anyone out there got experience of other third party warranties on these cars?

I've got an RAC 5* warranty on my XJR. Cost me £1k for a 3 year policy.

Has paid out for a replacement gearbox and diff so far.

I'd say stay with the Jag warranty, its big money but can be well worth it. I've had more than my money's worth, Jaguar's ability to supply parts is shocking but their customer care is excellent.................interesting to note on the BMW forum that their warranty renewal has increased, but their service care is even better.
