Bought Another F-Type V8S

It's my second V8S. I bought MY14 new in May 14 and sold is last summer. It's the first car I have really missed. So bought another with a higher spec and different colour.

Are they carbon fiber like the ones in the link below?

I have the black pack on my car - so basically glossy black bonnet louvers and side vents. The mirror caps are in Firesand though and I wanted to change them to gloss black to match. The only option here in the US is carbon fiber or chrome though. Yours look gloss black in your photo which intrigued me and I was wondering if they are an option in the UK.

They're gloss black covers. I had the carbon fibre pack on my previous V8S.

Hmmm that's exactly what I want - would you be able to do me a favor and see if they are available to order as a replacement part from your JLR dealer? Would love to get hold of a set but as mentioned they only sell carbon fiber or chrome here. Thanks.

I've checked with the dealer and they said the previous owner had the covers painted gloss black. It's probably the most cost effective way if they are not available locally to you.

Yes, the combined road tax is more than £1k pa. Only paid VAT on two of them though

The little red one just fits in the garage, which leaves a space for my teenage daughter's Fiesta. Guess who bought and is paying for that one as well!
