Have completed the fast run regen and the warning message has dissapeared.
Should I now introduce a cleaning additive or just let in rum?

I've tried both Millers' additive and rum. If you buy cheap Tesco's rum, it's not actually any more expensive than the Millers' stuff.

Plus, with the rum, don't pour in the whole bottle / container. Keep some for yourself.
