Alarm fob being ignored

My X308 has stopped responding to her alarm fobs.

On a rare occasion she will lock with a fob.

I then use the key to enter and the alarm sets off.

Any ideas on this please ?

The car battery and alarm fob batteries are in working order.

When I've had a key fob do something similar it's usually been the microswitch in the fob. To test, open the key case and short the terminal on one side of the switch to the other (using a paperclip or small piece of wire). If everything works as it should it's easy enough to solder in a new microswitch.

Don't think the 308 is as complex but my xfr did the same when the main battery was low, called out breakdown three times and even though the car would start the keyless module would not work

Sorry to labour the point, but just out of interest as much as anything, how have you checked the fobs?

No apologies necessary haha, I cant see how two fobs would go faulty at the same time, I have primarily just used the one, then today when it failed I used the other without success.

Might be worth putting main battery on charge and see if that makes any difference
