Am I remembering correctly that Richard Sniff Porter sold it to Hammond, saw it was up for sale again and alerted Hammond to the ad? Smith n Sniff pod 3/4 weeks ago..?

Considering the amount of rust/correction repair I'm currently having done to my S-Type R, I'm guessing Richard's XJ is going to reveal a fair amount...the difference of course is that Richard has the funds to sort it without braking a sweat smile

I watched the link the Fatbloke kindly posted and smiled to myself when Richard referenced the later X350 . Fine cars though the earlier steel bodied Jaguars are , as a second hand buy its the later aluminium XJR all day long for me .
