I make this around 70bhp over the Standard SVR and to be fair its hung around unsold for a little while . I wonder about the desirability of such a vehicle and whether the upgrade perhaps limits its Marketplace ? In my estimations this upgrade would easily puts the car north of 200mph and acceleration into McLaren territory . A proper " hot seat " as an Engineer friend at Red Bull would inevitably term it or is it beginning to reach the limit of its capabilities ?
I ask this question of anyone who has remapped a Car such as this as I am absolutely bereft of any knowledge or experience in this field . I owned and enjoyed an SVR and occasionally drove it extremely quickly but I found that owing to a relatively high driving position that it was hampered in the curves .
I think I can explain it best by saying that I felt that I "sat on" the SVR as opposed to "sitting in" the Porsche and the latter for me felt a far more confident and enjoyable place to exploit a vehicles potential .
I would love a go in this "remapped SVR" but realise I could come rapidly unstuck . Perhaps the Dealer could shift it quicker by returning it to standard form as when a car reaches Classic Status as this SVR undoubtedly will , originality becomes a cornerstone of its value .
