So the f-type centre air vents
Discussion
Driving the f-type the other week, for the first time looked at the shape of the centre air vents with the rise when they switch on.
I wish I could find the photos to demonstrate this, but when they come up they convert the dash to resembling the shape of the bonnet of an e-type from the drivers seat. Not only that but the vest which on first glance look just like standard units, seem to resemble very closely the rear bonnet vent you get in an e-type.
Maybe this is coincidence, but an admittedly superficial google couldn't identify if this was known. If not coincidence or a Callum design touch?

so this is the vent, and you can see the bulge which is really obvious driving

the f-type goes from this

to this

although I c Ould be over thinking it
The f-types I love, had the convertible svr and then when I needed another car over in the republic got a second one, the convertible is about the bluest thing I've ever seen and the coupe is a bespoke lime green some dealer specced up.

I loved the SVR , mind blowing acceleration which would outrun any Porsche up to the Turbo S which was £60000 more expensive . Why Jaguar never continued refining the concept of a proper Sports Car breaks my heart . My guess is that any similarity in design regarding the vent is purely accidental though others may no better ? You must if you can try the AMG engined Vantage . Very similar to an SVR in its power delivery , sometimes I wondered if the extra expenditure was worth it the SVR was so brutal in its power delivery . 170mph was attained early one morning in lockdown and it was as completely stable with plenty more left . “A momentary lapse of reason”😀
