F Type Returns / IDCORE

I just bought our F Type back from the chap we sold it to 4 years ago.
I was excited to find he'd fitted an IDCORE CarPlay system, but I can't get the damn thing to fire up.
Reading the instructors it suggests it should just popup as a Bluetooth option, but no such luck.
Should I see it appear in the audio or video source? I've tried pressing 'Nav', holding it down etc. but there's just no sign of it.
The aux port has a cable in it and there's a new USB dangling in the footwell as per their installation instructions.
It feels like I'm missing something obvious.
