Headlight bulb options for 2013 XJ X351

Hi folks. Year into XJ ownership and really loving the car.
MOT coming up in a few weeks time and the drivers side bulb has gone a bit pinky and sometimes doesn’t work. Needs replacement. No warning on the instrument cluster which is a first for any car I’ve owned which would inform you of a faulty bulb.
I was wondering if there were upgrades to the Xenon’s? LEDs maybe with a better light. What specification would it be? Is it better to stick with the Xenon’s?
Also is there any alternative to taking the bumper off to replace the bulb?
I’ve no handbook but what is that light cluster on the inside of the unit that looks like a cluster of LEDs? Doesn’t seem to work on mine unless it comes on at speed or certain conditions. Thanks in advance.
