Considering Petrol 2.0 2017-2020 F-Pace... silly?

Need a new motor that will cover 10-12k miles annually for 3 years, nice and economical on the motorway, and can support family motoring.
For around £14-15k I can see a few F Paces on 60-80k miles...
Now I know about the 2.0 Diesels and that these sound like they should absolutely never be considered
Is the 2.0 P250 ok? The F Pace looks like a great package of size, comfort, design etc...... I don't want a Skoda or a Lexus etc.
Am I being highly ambitious, even I choose a properly maintained car?
