Chausser 7ltr V12 XJS

Hi all,
I have taken in a car for storage, that the owner, who lives in the USA, wishes to find out more about, so he can decide to renovate or sell.
When he bought it several years ago, he was led to believe it was 1 of only 2 ever built.
The V5 states it started life, and still is,registered as a 5.3, however he was told it was a 7ltr.
I can't find a way to upload pictures, but the engine is in true Chausser Blue.
The main differences I can see at first glance are larger front brakes, a switch on the ski slope to adjust traction, and fuel lines which run through the a/c.
Despite being in storage (elsewhere) for several years, it starts and drives (sounds awsome), but needs the bodywork sorting out. Underneath/floor apparently is sound.
So I would appreciate any information anyone could give on its possible lineage.
