Hi all

Am looking to get myself an XK8 in the not too distant future. Apart from the classified ads here and Autotrader, can anyone recommend any other good sources for purchasing one? Owners clubs would be the ideal place to buy a well cared for example, but which ones?

thanks

Clubs are good, but you will make a trade off - a car bought from a club member will probably have been looked after better, but you will pay more for it in my experience.

Main UK clubs are:

www.jaguardriver.co.uk/

www.jec.org.uk/

but have at look on:

www.jag-lovers.org/ for the best information IMHO

How could anyone miss the best www.xkec.co.uk the XK enthusiasts club based in the UK. There are 354 members and we have a very active web site providing answers for non members as well as members. Discounts on insurance, servicing (UK only) and a quarterly magazine just about the XK

Thanks guys.

I found the xkec site last night, excellent forum, some great info, but it would be nice to have free access to the 'For Sale' section for prospective owners like myself.

As a member of the www.xkec.co.uk club you can then get into the full forum, a hell of a lot of info, as well general chat.

Come to some of our meets and get ideas of your requirements for a XK8R, also some of us have a few goodies fitted as well.
