v12 xjs tickover

hi my xjs has started to tickover at 1500 rpm when warm its fine when cold ,is there an idle control valve similar to the rover v8 if so does anybody know where it is and what it looks like any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Byron air valve is situated on the rear of B bank i.e. passenger side(in RHD car. They are not electric but controled by the temperature of the coolant in the water rail. They rarely seem to play up on cars regularly used. But they can sieze up internally (works like a thermostat)on those that get parked up for long periods. I will try and do a pic of one tommorrow to help you see where its located.
