Fobbing alarms!

...so my alarm stopped receiving signals from the key fob.

Got new batteries and no joy, tried reprogramming the alarm with the flashing lights trick, still no joy.
Locked the drivers door with the key and the alarm armed so it is working.

Bought a new key fob - 92 bloody quid - and programmed it and still no joy.

Anybody any suggestions?

Um....never done this with my Jaguar fob but I had to re-program my TVR key fob once and I remember I had to do it quite a few times before it accepted the programming I think......about 15 times!!!!!!! It is designed to do this as part of the security
