Rather Quick XKR

Hello All,
I thought i would share my news as i have been itching for these mods to my 2007 XKR, i have just got my car back from the chaps @ Paramount Performance, and she is rather quick i have had there full exhaust system fitted along with a super charger pulley and a remap of the ecu. the boys carried out a before and after dyno run and the figures were very inpressive. Before was 391.8BHP and after the mods she was running 453.2BHP.
She drives fantastic and gets all the looks as the exhaust sound beautiful. the guys gave a perfect service and made me feel very welcome.

sounds like a very healthy increase, congratulations, enjoy! would be interesting to hear your impressions after you've used it for several weeks, especially on throttle response, smoothness (same or rougher or even smoother than before), fuel consumption, etc...

Hello Chaps, i will have to let you know on the fuel consumption etc at present i am enjoying her to much to notice but was told there would be an increase as for smoothness and acceleration she is Phenomenal, when i get my head around posting pictures i will put some on. I didnt have the intercooler done as is wasn't needed, as for Paramount there are a really friendly bunch of guys who really seem to know there stuff and they had every thing avaliable on the shelf for my conversion.

Going through Heathrow tunnel will never be the same again.

Have to agree with the comments about Paramount. I've had my '97 XK8 fully loaded with everything except a body kit from them and they have been just brilliant

Hello Giant Big Head and Shar2, thanks for the replys and just to let you know the Mods i have had done cost me under £3500.00 which considering the quality of the upgrades and service i recieved i was pleasantly surprised, so much so i have taken the plunge and see is booked in for the lowered sports springs. i will post some pictures when she is finished.

Hi Flange Head, sounds like you're the guy Paul from Paramount was telling us about when the XK Enthusiasts Club had their rolling road shoot out on the 24th March. If it's the same one she is the most powerful car they have had on the road to date, outdoing a Ferarri they've also recently had in. Nice one
